Things are moving quickly this season!

2023 Season In Full Swing

 

We have already seen some fantastic games from our teams this year, placement games are complete or in process for the majority of the organization and our mites are rolling on practices with jamboree scheduling later this month.

All normal practice slots have been uploaded to TeamSnap, with additional weekend slots being handled week to week based on availability of ice. Our scheduling team worked hard over the weekend with PAHL scheduling and you will begin to see your regular season schedules uploaded.

SHAHA Skill Development

SHAHA commitment to skill development has been on full display so far this year. With Mike Schall leading the way as Director of Player and Coach Development, and Ray Conway as Lead Skills instructor, our fantastic team which includes Mike Yaremko (Goalies), Chris Conway (Skills) and Tyler Andrew (Skills) are making great progress. The kids are benefitting from many more touches with our development team than ever before. We continue to look for ways to get our players more time and will continue to do so. The response to our instructors from the kids has been awesome to watch.

SHAHA Night Out – Octoberfest!

OCTOBER 14TH, 2023 is coming quickly! All tickets have been distributed to teams – tickets are $35 for in person attendance and $20 for ticket only. We look forward to seeing everyone there, it will be a great cash night with great food! We will have kegs of Southern Tier Prima Pils and Fest beers! DON’T MISS OUT!

 

Picture week October 16th

The majority of the organization will have picture week October 16th. Schedule will follow from your business managers. Mite scheduling will follow in the weeks after once uniforms are distributed. This plan should allow us to have less chaos in the lobby. M&M will be handling everything electronic this year, and you will receive a link to chose from a couple shots which picture you would like.

Keep the hallways clear!

Before and after games, please keep the hallway entrance clear for players to enter and exit.

USA Hockey Concussion Protocol

USA Hockey requires reporting and clearance for concussions. Please report concussions and clearance return to play documents to VP@SHAHA.ORG

REMINDER Snack Bar Monitoring:

The YMCA Grab and go has 24Hr active security monitoring with high-definition cameras.  The facility reserves the right to sanction anyone caught shoplifting.  Please monitor and remind your children.

YMCA Update

The new Zamboni is cutting the ice and we expect the laser system to be installed by the end of October! The ice has been in great shape.
