Coach Development
Mike coordinates all SHAHA skills development for the Panthers. A 2022 Discover Exceptional Community Coach award recipient, Mike brings 20 years of coaching experience spanning every level from 8U through 18U AAA. He currently serves as Head Coach for the Bethel Park High School varsity program — bringing elite-level structure and vision to SHAHA's development programs.
Coach Ray returns to the SHAHA family after leading Pens Elite teams for 16 years. In addition to extensive head coaching experience, Ray has led skating and skills sessions for over a decade. A teacher by profession and a lifelong resident of the South Hills, Coach Ray brings a deep knowledge of the game and a genuine passion for player development to every session.
Coach Yaremko brings over 15 years of elite goalie coaching experience, having developed goalies who have gone on to play in the AHL, ECHL, NCAA Division I & III, USHL, ACHA, and beyond. He serves as a Goalie Coach Coordinator and Strength & Conditioning Coach with USA Hockey, holds a BS in Sports Management and Exercise Science, owns Blue Paint Training — a hockey-specific strength and conditioning facility — and is a lead instructor at the Shane Clifford Goalie School.
Coach Chris joins the SHAHA family after a 10-year playing career that began right here at SHAHA before taking him through Junior hockey and into NCAA college hockey. He has been involved with coaching at Pens Elite and has run skills and skating sessions for 6+ years. Returning to where it all started, Chris brings firsthand knowledge of the full development pathway — from SHAHA's home ice all the way to the college level.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Coach Tyler has been involved in hockey as a player or coach for over 20 years. His playing career included stops in Tier I, NAHL, and USHL, culminating at Ferris State University where he was part of a WCHA Championship team and competed in the NCAA Tournament. Since graduating in 2018, Tyler has channeled that elite experience into coaching and player development. He currently serves as Assistant Coach for the Bethel Park High School Varsity Team.
