Important Tryout Information
For all age levels except 8U Mites
Birth Year (BY) Teams
All Birth Year Teams (BY) are the TOP PLAYERS for that Birth Year. It is not a general registration for ALL players born in that year and there is an added cost to tryout. Please register your child appropriately.
Deferred Players
If you tryout for a BY or AAA team and are deferred, you will automatically be moved down to the next level and DO NOT need to re-register.
BIB Numbers - KEEP THEM!
Your player will KEEP your assigned BIB# through your entire tryout process and will need it for position acceptance. PLEASE KEEP THEM.
Jersey Requirements
Bring a DARK and LIGHT jersey to each tryout session.
10U+ Closed Tryouts
10U and above tryouts are CLOSED to spectators and LiveBarn will be inactive. Please remain outside or in lobby.
AA Tryout Process
AA tryout participants are not guaranteed for all sessions—players MAY be deferred to AB based on evaluations.
USA Hockey Registration
Prior to accepting a SHAHA position, you will need to have your 2026-27 USA Hockey Registration.
