SHAHA is pleased to announce that our PeeWee Major (2006) team coached by Paul Kovac will play an independent AA/AAA schedule for the upcoming 2018/19 season. The team consists of several players that played at the Tier 1 AAA level that were added to a strong existing core that previously won PAHL championships and several tournaments at the AA level. Coach Kovac can be contacted at email@example.com.
As an organization, we continually strive to build on the SHAHA tradition of excellence most recently established by our U14 National Championship Team 2017/18 (Tier 2). We wish PeeWee 2006 and all of our SHAHA teams success in the upcoming 2018/19 season. Go Panthers!
SHAHA is still accepting registrations for Squirt, PeeWee, and Bantam players for the 2018-19 season; there are spots left at multiple skill levels within those age classifications. This is for both skaters and goalies.
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if interested and include your name, three year playing history and date of birth
Congrats to Bantam Adelman on completing the clean sweep all the way to the top of the mountain by becoming the USA Hockey National Champions at 14U Tier 2.
The team entered as the 7th ranked team in the country and went 6-0 throughout the 5 day tournament to claim the championship.
And to make it as dramatic as possible, the team was down 2-1 late in the championship, but scored the tying goal with 0:36 to go with the extra attacker, and then scored on a 5-3 power play in overtime.
Congrats to all of the coaches, players and families involved in this tremendous accomplishment!
SHAHA is pleased to announce the following head coaches for the 2018/19 season which will once again have the Spencer YMCA RInk as our home ice.
*While we anticipate teams will be placed at these levels, ultimate determination is through PAHL’s placement process.
For the 2018-19 season, SHAHA would like to introduce birth year teams as the AA team at various levels across the organization. Specifically, we plan to have birth year teams for the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 age classifications this season. As we continue grow, we will evaluate adding additional teams at each level.
Coaches for remaining teams will be decided upon at tryouts to fill out our teams at each level.
The tryout schedule is as follows:
SHAHA 2018 Championships:
SHAHA has had a lot of success at the Bantam level this season.
Bantam Adelman - 14UAA MidAm Champions

Registration for Mite hockey is now open for the 2018-2019 season. Any child with a 2010 birth year or younger and who has participated in any of the following can play Mite hockey:
Here are just a few reasons to play Hockey:
More than a Game
Hockey develops skills on the ice that build a foundation for a lifetime. In addition to athletic prowess, hockey promotes confidence, pride, focus and responsibility. With an emphasis on fun, hockey is a game to be played and enjoyed for life.
Starting with the bonds created in the locker room to the relationships formed on ice, hockey creates life-long friendships. This camaraderie shared on and off the ice encourages teamwork and the natural development of leadership skills.
Set Up for Success
From learning to balance school, responsibilities at home, time at the rink and playing with friends, hockey encourages kids to learn time management skills that will later serve them in all facets of life. Hockey’s unique source of physical fitness promotes healthy living.
Hockey is Fun
The thrill of carrying the puck up the ice on a breakaway, the exhilaration of scoring your first goal or making that amazing save is possible due to the encouraging environment hockey provides to try new things and grow as a hockey player and person.
